We have recently had a two storey extension completed by CJW Construction at our home in Solihull. From the quotation phase through to completed project, timescales and budget were kept to plan. We agreed a start date some 6 months in advance and on the agreed date the team were on site at 8.00am ready to commence works. Throughout the build communication was great and the team of tradesmen were always considerate to us as we remained in the property and to our neighbours during the build. One thing that really stood out was the consistent work rate by all involved in the job, there was never even slacking! As the job commenced any issues or concerns were dealt with swiftly and without hesitation. We extended the original project during the build whilst the team were on site to encompass a conservatory roof conversion, due to us being so happy with the initial phase of work. We have recently had a large double-storey and side extension completed to a high standard by the team at CJW Construction. Everyone of the team deserves a big shout out - great job lads! Our project started earlier than expected in June 2023 and lasted around 8 months and we didn't even have to move out. Everyone pulled out all the stops to get the kitchen functional to have a Christmas Day! We worked with them to overcome architect drawing problems speedily and effectively. They built us a fantastic media wall which previously was a bland wall with a pillar holding up a steel! The quote was competitively priced compared to six others, and after visiting a nearby job recently finished it was an easy decision to make in the end. Time and care was taken by everyone during the build to ensure our dog didn't escape onto the busy main road. We would highly recommend CJW Construction to any new potential customers as we are very happy with the quality of the work carried out. We have recently had a double-storey extension and attic conversion completed by the team at CJW Construction. A massive shout out to the entire team. They worked tirelessly to ensure our requirements were met. Our project was due to start in May 2023 but actually started in March 2023 and finished in late October 2023.
The team were fantastic and having seen their work previously we had no qualms choosing CJW Construction. The quote was competitive compared to others and it was a really easy decision to make. We were able to stay in the property whilst the work was being carried out with very minimal disruption to our daily lives. Although we won’t miss the 7.30am starts.

I can highly recommend the services of CJW Construction for their commercial building works. Our dental practice required a rear extension and multiple retrofits to improve access and modernise the facilities. This presented several challenges with consultation from the Health and Safety Executive, Care Quality Commission, Fire Department and Solihull Council. CJW Construction dealt with the many setbacks we faced with the build in a pragmatic and professional manner. We did not lose a single day of clinical time with our patients as the team scheduled the works to prevent loss of facilities, even working on a Saturday when necessary. The quality of the finish is excellent and we are especially grateful to CJW Construction for sourcing specialist materials, like X-ray resistant plasterboard and lead doors, as well as saving us a lot of money on the surgery cabinets by going direct to a supplier and negotiating on our behalf. The patients were all very impressed by the speed and craftsmanship during the build. We have a “Phase 2” planned in the form of a new main entrance and waiting room, and will be using CJW Construction again very soon.
